ADAPT Project Kicks Off with TPM1 in Germany
The ADAPT project commenced its activities with the first Transnational Project Meeting (TPM1) on March 9-10, 2023, in Germany. Hosted by uDevelop and facilitated by the project coordinator CYA, the meeting brought together 10 participants, with two representatives from each of the five partner countries. This kick-off event marked a crucial step in fostering collaboration towards enhancing digital skills for the societal and political integration of mobile EU youth.
The meeting agenda focused on key topics, including the project’s objectives, expected outcomes, and the roles and responsibilities of each partner. Each organization delivered a 20-minute presentation, providing insights into their structure and expertise in contributing to the initiative. Discussions also emphasized strategies for ensuring the project’s long-term impact and successful implementation across all participating countries. With a strong foundation established, partners are now prepared to advance the project’s mission, promoting digital inclusion and active youth participation in democratic processes.

ADAPT Project’s Study Visit Successfully Conducted in Greece
From November 5-8, 2024, the ADAPT project successfully carried out its Study Visit in Veroia, Greece, hosted by EQUALINE. This immersive experience brought together young EU mobile citizens, mentors, and community leaders from across Europe to explore themes of digital skills, social inclusion, and sustainability. The visit was designed to empower participants with knowledge and tools to better integrate into their host communities while fostering intercultural dialogue.
The study visit featured on-site studies and interactive workshops, developed by EQUALINE in collaboration with project partners. Participants engaged in dynamic discussions, cultural exchanges, and practical activities, creating innovative strategies for digital and green initiatives. Walking through the historic streets of Veroia, they connected with local stakeholders, explored pressing social challenges, and exchanged ideas on community integration.
A significant highlight of the visit was the excursion to Vergina, home to the Royal Macedonian Tombs, where participants had the opportunity to delve into Greece’s rich historical heritage. They also visited key landmarks such as the Byzantine Museum, the Jewish Quarter, and the Apostle Paul’s Tribune, gaining a deeper understanding of the region’s cultural diversity.
This study visit was a milestone in the ADAPT project, reinforcing the importance of collaboration, community engagement, and digital empowerment for EU mobile youth. Through these shared experiences, participants strengthened their networks and left inspired to drive positive change in their respective communities.

Article 3
ADAPT Project’s Youth Exchange Successfully Held in Bucharest, Romania
From July 8-11, 2024, the ADAPT project conducted its Youth Exchange in Bucharest, Romania, hosted by ASEL RO. This four-day event brought together young EU mobile citizens, aiming to strengthen their engagement in civic life and encourage active participation in democratic processes. Participants explored the importance of having the right, means, and space to contribute to societal decision-making, as well as the opportunities and challenges related to civic engagement.
Each organization was represented by two youth participants and one group leader, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and experiences. Through interactive discussions, workshops, and collaborative activities, attendees examined barriers to participation and developed strategies to enhance youth involvement in shaping their communities. The sessions provided practical insights into the role of young people in decision-making and emphasized the importance of proactive engagement in creating a more inclusive and democratic society.
By the end of the exchange, participants left inspired and equipped with new tools to advocate for civic participation in their respective communities. The event marked another important step in the ADAPT project’s mission to empower EU mobile youth and foster their integration into the social and political fabric of their host countries.

Article 4
ADAPT Project’s 1st Youth Festival Successfully Held in Bucharest, Romania
On November 21-22, 2024, ASEL RO hosted the 1st Youth Festival in Bucharest, Romania, as part of the ADAPT project. The event brought together 15 young participants from five partner countries, alongside representatives from the project organizations, to engage in discussions on youth participation in social and democratic life.
Over the course of two days, the festival provided a platform for cultural exchange, dialogue, and collaboration, allowing young people to share their experiences and challenges related to civic engagement. Through interactive sessions and networking activities, participants explored ways to strengthen youth involvement in decision-making processes and build more inclusive communities.
Simultaneously, representatives from the five partner organizations worked towards the establishment of a wider network of EU bodies, reinforcing the project’s impact and sustainability. Strong communication and dissemination efforts were integrated into the festival, ensuring broader outreach and visibility of the ADAPT initiative.
The successful implementation of this festival marked a significant milestone in the project, fostering a spirit of youth empowerment, active citizenship, and transnational cooperation. The enthusiasm and engagement demonstrated during the event highlighted the importance of such initiatives in shaping a more participatory and inclusive European society.

Article 5
ADAPT Project’s 2nd Youth Festival Successfully Held in Greece
From November 27-30, 2024, the 2nd Youth Festival of the ADAPT project took place in Greece, hosted by EQUALINE. This engaging event brought together 15 young participants from five partner countries, providing a unique space for discussions, networking, and collaboration on youth participation in democratic and social life.
Over four days, participants took part in interactive sessions, creative workshops, and cultural activities, sharing their perspectives on civic engagement and exploring strategies to strengthen youth involvement in decision-making processes. The festival encouraged intercultural dialogue, allowing young people to exchange experiences and ideas on the challenges and opportunities of being active citizens in their host communities.
Simultaneously, representatives from the five partner organizations worked on broadening the project’s impact by establishing connections with a wider network of EU bodies. The event was also accompanied by strong communication and dissemination efforts, ensuring that the key messages of the ADAPT project reached a larger audience.
The festival’s success reinforced the importance of youth empowerment, active citizenship, and cross-border cooperation, leaving participants motivated and inspired to take action within their communities. This milestone event further solidified the ADAPT project’s mission to foster inclusion and civic engagement among young Europeans.

Article 6
ADAPT Project’s Youth Mobility Successfully Held in Latvia
From December 12-15, 2024, the ADAPT project successfully implemented its Youth Mobility in Latvia, facilitated by ECRRED. This event provided a unique opportunity for young EU mobile citizens to enhance their awareness of active citizenship and social inclusion opportunities, equipping them with the knowledge and motivation to engage in their communities.
The four-day mobility featured a series of seminars and discussions, bringing together participants with key stakeholders, including journalists, representatives from local authorities and municipalities, EU politicians, and national policy makers. Through these sessions, attendees explored the role of youth in shaping democratic societies, discussed policies affecting mobile citizens, and examined ways to foster stronger cross-border cooperation.
The event served as a platform for intercultural dialogue, networking, and collaboration, allowing young participants to engage directly with decision-makers and gain valuable insights into the mechanisms of policy-making at both local and European levels. The successful execution of this mobility reinforced the ADAPT project’s commitment to empowering EU youth, promoting social inclusion, and strengthening democratic participation across borders.

Article 7
ADAPT Project Concludes with Final Meeting in Liechtenstein
The ADAPT project came to a formal conclusion with the Final Meeting, held on December 15-16, 2024, in Ruggell, Liechtenstein, and facilitated by CYA, the project coordinator. This meeting brought together project managers and key staff members from all partner organizations to reflect on the project’s journey, evaluate its successes, and discuss the overall impact of the initiative.
During the meeting, project managers reviewed the implementation, coordination, and financial management of the project, ensuring that all objectives were met as planned. The discussion provided a comprehensive analysis of the achievements, challenges, and lessons learned, with a focus on the long-term sustainability of the project’s results. Each partner contributed insights into their specific role, highlighting the impact of the youth exchanges, study visits, and festivals in fostering digital inclusion and civic participation.
The meeting served as a final assessment of the project, ensuring transparency in financial reporting, communication strategies, and quality assurance measures. With all aspects of the project successfully completed, the partners reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining the network and building on the foundations laid by the ADAPT initiative.
This Final Meeting marked the official closure of the project, summing up the collective efforts of all partners and reinforcing the importance of collaboration, youth empowerment, and digital engagement in shaping a more inclusive European future.
