Specific objectives

Specific Objectives of the ADAPT Project:

  1. Enhance Youth Participation: Facilitate the active involvement of mobile and native-born EU youth in democratic life by addressing the integration gap, focusing on under-represented groups and socio-economic disadvantaged youth.
  2. Promote Digital Skills Development: Empower youth with essential digital skills to navigate modern challenges, fostering their engagement with decision-makers and contributing to their active participation in society.
  3. Address Integration Challenges: Investigate and tackle limited participation phenomena among youth in five diverse EU countries (Liechtenstein, Romania, Greece, Latvia, and Germany), identifying common needs and hurdles for effective integration.
  4. Create a Digital Laboratory: Establish a platform for the exchange of good practices, knowledge, and training, leveraging digital tools to provide unique insights into effective integration strategies across various European contexts.
  5. Cultivate European Identity: Reinforce the sense of European identity and citizenship among youth, emphasizing the importance of the EU as a factor for growth, cohesion, and common heritage.
  6. Improve Media Literacy: Support the development of a better understanding of the role of media among young people, focusing on rights, duties, educational opportunities, and cultural matters.
  7. Foster Inclusive Dialogue: Promote open dialogue among youth on EU citizenship-related topics, creating a space for discussions that consider the existing socio-professional and geographic diversity.
  8. Raise Awareness for Inclusion Policies: Increase awareness about the necessity of inclusive policies for youth, emphasizing the importance of policies that address socio-economic disparities and promote equal opportunities.
  9. Build Common Perspectives: Encourage the development of common perspectives among youth, considering their diverse backgrounds, experiences, and aspirations, fostering a sense of shared identity and belonging.
  10. Contribute to Policy Development: Provide valuable insights and recommendations to policymakers and decision-makers based on the outcomes of the project, aiming to shape and improve policies related to youth engagement, integration, and digital skills development.
